Providing feedback: Commenting and grading
Feedback for students can be in the form of comments or grades. When offered at a point when students can still use the feedback to achieve the course learning outcomes, feedback has the potential to motivate students and inform actions that improve learning.
Let students know who will:
provide them with feedback comments on their work (e.g., you, teaching assistants, graders, peers, students themselves in the form of self-assessment).
grade their work (e.g., you, teaching assistants, graders).
