The analytics panel in Slido, the Polling @ McGill tool, provides information about participant responses to your poll, such as poll and Q&A engagement, poll results, and the number of engaged participants.

Overview of Slido analytics

The analytics panel in Slido provides an overview of the key analytics from your event:

  • Engaged participants: level of overall participant engagement

  • Q&A engagement: level of engagement with the Q&A

  • Poll engagement: level of engagement with the polls

  • Popular questions and topics: the most upvoted questions; a word cloud of the most popular topics is generated

  • Most influential users: students who submitted the most popular questions, what they asked, and the number of votes received

  • Poll results: a summary of the poll results

Export your analytics

Several analytics can be exported from Slido. Follow these steps to export your analytics:

  1. Select your Slido Event.

  2. Go to Analytics tab.

  3. Click Export.

  4. Click Download exports.

Slido Infographic

Slido provides analytics infographics: visualizations of key analytics from your event. An infographic includes the number of questions asked in the Q&A, the most popular questions, the most influential students, a word cloud of main topics discussed in the event, and an overview of the poll responses.

Generate a Slido infographic

  1. Select your Slido Event.

  2. Go to the Analytics tab.

  3. Click Infographics.
